Why Now? What Sparked the Blog, the Website Update, and the Shift in My Work

Turned-on Gray Laptop Computer on Table

For over a decade, most of my work has been behind-the-scenes, partnering with organisations to design and deliver training for their internal teams. And I still love that work. But recently, I’ve been running a lot more public classes – shorter, sharper sessions on topics like AI, digital competencies, and keeping up with tech changes that are happening fast.
These days, I’m not just delivering training. I’m helping people catch up, keep up, and feel confident in a world where the tools seem to change every other week.

So, why a blog?

Within Because the people I work with – small biz owners, community leaders, educators – are busy. You don’t always have time to review every AI update or test out the latest tool. That’s where I come in. I want this blog to be a space where I:

  • Reflect on what’s working (and what’s changing) in the training world
  • Share what’s worth your attention (and what’s not)
  • Break down the tech without the jargon
  • Offer practical ideas you can actually use.

What’s coming up?

I’ve got some new public sessions launching soon, including:

  • Leading AI Integration – a 1 hour session designed for leaders looking to move from policy to practice
  • Digital Self Defence Workshops – currently piloting sessions to help people build practical skills around online safety, privacy and responsible AI use.

Plus, I’ll keep offering:

  • Intro to AI sessions for beginners
  • Time-saving tools and workflow tops for those ready to go further
  • And my Twilight Tech Talks – a guided space to explore useful tools without the overwhelm.

Want in?

If you’re curious, overwhelmed, or just want someone to cut through the tech noise – you’re in the right place.

I’ll be sharing useful tips, new tools worth your time, and behind-the-scenes updates from the workshops I’m running. If that sounds like your kind of thing, you can get it straight to your inbox.
